Fermé-Lux is a Luxembourg family business founded in 2007, specialising in the sale, installation, motorisation and repair of garage doors, gates, doors, windows and sun protection. Based in Sandweiler, the company was founded by Manuel Soares Silva and his son Luis.
Official partner of the premium European brands Hörmann, Schüco, Adoro, Huga, Berner, Roma, Bornemann, Erhardt Markisen and Somfy. Fermé-Lux operates in 7 cantons across Luxembourg on residential, apartment-building and industrial projects. The company also offers a repair service for all brands.

Administration2
Receptionist (M/F)As the first face of Fermé-Lux, you are the main point of contact between the company and our customers. You handle the front desk and the phones, and contribute directly to the professional image of our showroom in Sandweiler.
Your responsibilities
- Welcome visitors to the showroom and direct them to the right person
- Answer, screen and transfer incoming phone calls
- Handle incoming quote requests and qualify the first details
- Book appointments (sales, surveyor, repairs) and keep the diaries up to date
- Receive and dispatch mail and parcels
- Provide occasional administrative support to the teams

- People skills, polished presentation and discretion
- Excellent spoken and written communication
- Well organised and able to juggle several requests at once
- Professional, customer-focused attitude
Key skills
- Fluent French; German and/or Luxembourgish strongly recommended

Administrative and Accounting Assistant (M/F)At the heart of how Fermé-Lux runs, you manage the administrative and accounting follow-up of customer files, from invoicing through to assembling energy subsidy applications.
Your responsibilities
- Issue, track and chase customer and supplier invoices
- Prepare and follow subsidy files (PrimeHouse, Luxembourg energy renovation aid)
- Handle the administrative follow-up of customer files from order to delivery
- Prepare the accounting documents sent to the accounting firm / fiduciary
- Manage administrative correspondence, reminders and filing
- Support the sales and technical teams on administrative matters
Profile sought

Sales Representative / Technical Sales (M/F)An expert in in-home consultative selling, you guide our residential customers in choosing their garage doors, gates, entrance doors, windows and sun protection. You represent Fermé-Lux and our premium partners (Hörmann, Schüco, Adoro, Huga, Berner, Roma, Bornemann, Erhardt Markisen, Somfy).
Your responsibilities
- Hold sales appointments directly at customers' homes
- Analyse the customer's needs and recommend the most suitable solution
- Prepare and present personalised quotes covering our full range
- Follow up quotes through to signature
- Act as the link between the customer, the surveyor and the site manager
- Maintain and grow the customer base through referrals and loyalty
- Represent Fermé-Lux at the Sandweiler showroom during customer visits

Fitter's Assistant (M/F)You work in a pair with an experienced fitter to install our products at customers' homes. An ideal position to learn the trade and progress to the role of fitter.
Your responsibilities
- Assist the fitter on installation sites
- Prepare the equipment, tools and work area
- Handle the products (doors, windows, gates, often bulky and heavy)
- Carry out simple installation tasks under the fitter's supervision
- Clean the site and manage waste
- Follow safety instructions

Site Manager (M/F)You orchestrate all installation activity: schedules, teams, quality control. Responsible for the smooth running of projects, you are the operational pivot between the office, field teams and customers.
Your responsibilities
- Plan and organise the installation teams' work across all sites
- Manage the fitters, fitter's assistants and after-sales technicians day to day
- Prepare the sites (materials, tools, access, logistics coordination)
- Carry out quality checks before, during and at handover of the projects
- Act as the link between customers, teams and management
- Handle on-site contingencies and arbitrate priorities
- Enforce safety rules on site

Site Surveyor (M/F)A key role in Fermé-Lux's technical chain, the surveyor guarantees absolutely accurate measurements before the factory order. You are the essential link between sales and the manufacture of made-to-measure products.
Your responsibilities
- Visit customers to take precise measurements of the openings
- Check the technical feasibility of the solution sold (installation configuration, building constraints)
- Draw up the technical order forms sent to partner factories
- Anticipate any adaptations required (thresholds, cladding, finishes)
- Act as the technical interface between sales, the site manager and the factories
- Ensure the ordered product matches the customer's expectations and site constraints

After-Sales and Repair Technician (M/F)A specialist in repair and motorisation, you visit our residential and business customers to diagnose, repair and recommission garage doors, gates, doors, windows and sun protection of all brands. You are also our go-to person for motorisation and home automation.
Your responsibilities
- Diagnose faults on site (mechanical, electrical, electronic)
- Repair and replace parts: springs, cables, tracks, motors, control boards
- Install, configure and program motors, remote controls and home automation (Somfy, Hörmann…)
- Carry out preventive maintenance and maintenance contracts
- Advise the customer and write an intervention report
- Handle emergency call-outs according to the on-call schedule

Warehouse Operative / Order Picker (M/F)At the heart of our logistics, you handle goods receipt, stock management and the preparation of equipment for our installation and after-sales teams. Your rigour ensures every site starts with the right equipment at the right time.
Your responsibilities
- Receive and check supplier deliveries (quantities, compliance, condition)
- Store and organise the warehouse stock (doors, windows, gates, motors, spare parts)
- Prepare orders and equipment for the installation and after-sales teams
- Load and unload vehicles, in particular with the forklift
- Track stock, run inventories and flag restocking needs
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe and well organised
Profile sought
- First experience in logistics, warehousing or order picking
- Category B driving licence essential, forklift licence appreciated
- Good physical condition, comfortable handling heavy loads
